Though we were not big travelers, and though I couldn't fathom the heat in southern California at that time of year, when my fianc asked me where we should go on a short, affordable wedding, I suggested a Disneyland vacation. So what that we were grown adults. So what that neither of us cared for intense rides that make you throw up or standing in lines that seemed to threaten hours of misery. We made plans for our Disneyland vacation, foregoing the Disneyland hotel (in favor of cheaper digs, as we would only be in the room to shower and sleep), and deciding to drive (as we were only a few hundred miles away).<br /><br />I love amusement park environments: I love the people, who have let their hair down and let go of formalities, temporarily I love the scenes to observe and enjoy; and I love the country fair snacks that one typically indulges in only once or twice a year-the fib, the hot fib sundaes in giant waffle cones, the cotton candy.... When I got to the gates, to begin my two-day Disneyland vacation, however, I thought I might change my mind. There were hundreds of people, not so much crowded and ready to burst through the entrance in excited, frantic television commercial joy, but still, in great suffocating numbers. But, my apprehension was assuaged when the gates did open and the people disbursed, walking with plenty of space between us into the park, immediately going into the closest food or rest stop building or walking into the building where Abe Lincoln gives the Gettysburg Address. (If you have made a long drive right before beginning your Disneyland vacation and are parched tired, and of course gullible, the wax figures become so alive for you it is startling.... A great way to start your Disneyland vacation experience, which is surreal at most times, anyway)<br /><br />

In the capital of Puerto Rico, San Juan where the famous latin singer Ricky Martin is born , there is so much room for beach adventures, such as beach parties, play volley, Frisbee throwing or maybe why not? searching for hidden treasures. There is a wide variety of things to do while being in San Juan. The advantages of having the tropical climate on your side are so many, that it would take an eternity to enumerate. But waking up with the sun in your face and the sound of the waves in your ears, you will certainly get a couple of ideas of what to do to enjoy yourself.<br />

Its geographical position situated in the northeastern Caribbean, having at east the Dominican Republic and at west the beautiful Virgin Islands , makes this semi-autonomous territory of the United States one of the most wanted travel destinations. The beauty of the landscapes is due to the composition of the territory an archipelago that includes the main island of Puerto Rico and a number of smaller islands and keys of which the largest are Culebra, Mona and Vieques. The main island, although it is the smallest by land area, is third largest by population among the four Greater Antilles. <br />

The great climate is also a big bonus that weights heavy on peoples decision of visiting this great place. Puerto Rico is located in the tropics, which gives its habitants the possibility to enjoy an average temperature that is approximated at 82.4 F (28 C) all throughout the year which, as you can figure it out yourself, means that the temperature always remains constant and does not have any significant fluctuations with a change in the season. It is a land of everlasting summer, if I may say so.<br />

Do you like lakes and rivers? Well, then you get lucky again because Puerto Rico has no less than 17 lakes, all man-made and a number of over 50 rivers, most of them having as an origin the Cordillera Central. The rivers situated in the northern region of the island are usually of a higher water flow rates and longer than those situated in the south, and that is because the south part always receives less rain than the central and northern regions. <br />
<br />
Why spend money in clubs and on other similar things when you can travel to the gorgeous Puerto Rico? The hospitality of people, the warmth of the sun and the splendor of the beaches, all combined with a tint of singularity specific for this place is what makes this place be worthy of being seen.
